To date, the Tulsa Department of Health (THD) has not confirmed any incidents of sexual assault or harassment against women in the city of Tulsa. Oklahoma police have released footage showing two Tulsa police officers shooting a Tulsa man, leaving one dead and others critically injured. An Oklahoma City man was fatally wounded in a shooting on Interstate 30 near the intersection of I-35 on Sunday afternoon, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

While Dr. Poitevien continues to work as a general dentist, the dental treatment of infants and children in adolescence has become his dominant passion. He started the practice because there was a great need for pediatric dental care in his community at that time and only a few dentists took care of it. During his stay, he was equipped with the most advanced dental equipment available in Oklahoma State, as well as the best dental training.
In 1999, Dr. Poitevien received his Bachelor's degree in dentistry from the College of Dentistry at the University of Oklahoma. He married his first wife and founded a practice in Stillwell, Oklahoma, where he visited patients until 2000. Wyatt graduated from Oklahoma State University and then applied to OU College of Dentistry to continue her education in a profession she already loved. Then she was offered a job as a dental assistant at the Children's Hospital of Tulsa, where she quickly became popular as the community's first dentist.
After working as a dental assistant for several years, she moved with her husband to Oklahoma City, where she attended the University of Oklahoma Dental School. She was admitted to the College of Dentistry, graduated from 10% of her class and earned a PhD in dental surgery.
