I am an honest person who likes to dance and karaoke. I like hanging out with my friends and watching movies. I'm into running races, beading and I work in a library. I am an only child. I'm a pretty decent guy. I'm told I'm very sweet and I'm constantly honest. I'm rather tall and a good bit overweight. Eventually I'd like to get in better shape but at the moment I'm not terribly concerned with it. Generally I keep my hair long but at the moment it is about shoulder length. I am a man that likes independent ladies. I have been married and have three grown kids. I do not like drama in my life. I would like a lady that is caring, loving, and smart. I like to cuddle, and hangout. Cooking relaxes me and I love to do it. I try to avoid telling other how to run their lives and how to make their lives better. I firmly believe that meddling in ones life is wrong and everyone must make their own decision of what and how to do things, however; first they must know the fact.

Lame Joke of the day:
A man runs into the vetâ??s office carrying his dog, screaming for help. The vet rushes him back to an examination room and has him put his dog down on the examination table. The vet examines the still, limp body and after a few moments, tells the man that his dog, regrettably, is dead. The man, clearly agitated and not willing to accept this, demands a second opinion.

The vet goes into the back room and comes out with a cat and puts the cat down next to the dogâ??s body. The cat sniffs the body, walks from head to tail, poking and sniffing the dogâ??s body and finally looks at the vet and meows.

I am a really good listener, but will tell you honestly what i think. I am very quiet and it also takes alot to get me riled up. My kids are my life and there is nothing i wouldnt do for them. I love to ride my motorcycle with friends. We dont even need a destination, a ride through the country is fine by me. During the summer my family and my friends famlies try to have weekend camp outs. I also enjoy sitting at home where it is quiet and relaxing, whether it be watching a good movie or most any type of sports. My favorite sports would probably have to be golf and college football. I am a huge Oklahoma Sooners fan. I do also enjoy going and playing golf with my son and some friends from work. We are looking for someone that can accept us as a pair. I play guitar a lot. I've been playing since I was 14, so 8 years now. I like a lot of different types of music, but I am very cynical and biased when it comes to music.
I'm a vegetarian. I have been for years, but I am open to others that eat meat. It doesn't bother me in the slightest bit. I'm not one to try to change other people. I personally just disagree with the fact that animals are bred to die for our satisfaction.
I smoke weed. I think weed can be therapeutic, though, I don't like the idea of it being a crutch. I don't see anything bad about it, and I feel it's much more safe than alcohol, in some degree. Depending on certain things (THC volumes vs. Cannabis amount). But along with all of that, I have lived the life of a stoner, and I've lived the hardships that come with the package, and refuse to ever live that way again.

I know that there is absolutely no way to say/write this without sounding like a complete jackass or total monster, but I have to try. So many women on here (and in life in general) claim to be "Open-minded", so I'm going to lay it all out there and hope that at least one truly is and can understand me.

I love learning and teaching myself new things. I like books. I like reading about history, learning new languages, and learning about talented people and the things that they did that defined their career. I like different kinds of puzzles and video games (I'm more of an old-school gamer. I grew up playing Super Mario Bros., Megaman, and Tetris; games that I still enjoy today). I love music a lot and I love listening to music from other countries.

I have a talent for digital media and most of what I work with is video. However long it may take, I have this ambition to write, direct, and film an independent film of sorts. Just out of college, I don't have the assets yet, but I'm working on it.

NEUROFIBROMATOSIS (NF for short) A Big Word!Lots of syllables! Lots of problems! What is NF? You ask. NF stands for Neurofibromatosis (neuro-fibro-ma-toe-sis) which is complex genetic disorder of the nervous system which can result in terrible disfigurement, deformity, deafness, blindness, brain tumors, cancer and even death. NF knows no boundaries, as it is equally common in males and females and every racial and ethnic group, and 50% of all the people with NF have no family history of the disorder. While not all NF patients suffer from the most severe symptoms, all live with the uncertainty of not knowing if, or when, they might be severely affected because NF is a highly variable, and progressive disease. Facts & Statistics NF has been classified into three distinct types; NF1, NF2 and Schwannomatosis. They are caused by different genes, located on different chromosomes. NF1 is not a rare disorder, it is the most common neurological disorder caused by a single gene. NF1 is the more common form of NF, occurring in 1:4,000 births throughout the world. NF2 is a rarer type, occurring in 1:40,000 people worldwide. While today there is no consensus, studies indicate that Schwannomatosis occurs in 1:40,000 people, similar to NF2. The Neurofibromatoses are genetically-determined disorders which affect more than 100,000 Americans; this makes NF more prevalent than Cystic Fibrosis, hereditary Muscular Dystrophy, Huntington's Disease and Tay Sachs combined. All forms of NF are autosomal dominant genetic disorders which can be inherited from a parent who has NF or may be the result of a new or "spontaneous mutation" (change) in the sperm or egg cell. I'm recently separated after 12 years of marriage (still going through a nasty divorce) that has completely shattered my trust in others. It'll take me awhile before I'm able to trust anyone again so I'm not looking for anything long term maybe just dinner and movie type thing and the basically getting to know someone new. I'm not looking for a one night stand or anything similar either but rather the intimacy of being able to connect with another woman beyond just the physical. Yeah, it's sounds weird but I'm not into using people for a quick fix. I'm a hopeless romantic and believed that love could endure all things until circumstance forced a change of attitude. I know I have my problems and that most would consider my life to filled with to much drama, but I don't know a single person who's ever had their heart broken and torn out not to be affected by it. I little reserved and very respectful of others and try to treat everyone by the golden rule although I can be judgemental at times. I guess you could say that I'm a social drinker but have had maybe 8 beers, 6 glasses of wine, and a couple wine coolers in 13 years although I did used to drink and party every night prior to that. I very soft spoken for the most part and refrain from profanity as a show of respect for others and because I feel it can be degrading to others at times. There's plenty more if I took the time to write my life story but you're welcome to ask; I don't hide anything although my childhood is a Greek tragedy that I would rather not talk about because of deep cuts that have never healed. Oh, I'm a star gazer too; there's not a single night I can't tell you where Orion is without even looking up if you were to ask.
